Madison Blues fue el único single extraído del primer disco de George Thorogood un single que solo fue editado en U.S.A, Francia y España. El disco en si puede parecer un tributo al gran Bluesman "Elmore James" ya que ambos temas son de su autoría en la primera cara encontramos "Madison Blues" una cruda adaptación del tema cargado de guitarra slide en la cara B "Can't stop lovin'" un tema que Thorogood lleva a su terreno doblando su velocidad y embruteciendolo como nos gusta. Ambos temas entraron en el mítico disco debut de "George Thorogood and the destroyers" originalmente el single se publicaba en el sello Sonet en 1977 sin tener la edición americana portada alguna. la edición española sera en "Discophon" y llegaria un año mas tarde presentado un artwork único utilizando la foto de la portada del Lp la contraportada también presenta un diseño único donde además de los temas y los créditos nos anuncia incluyendo la portada los nuevos lanzamientos del sello "Discophon".
